I can be e-mailed at my gmail account. You could friend me on Livejournal on the username missambs. On AIM I can be reached on LikeHappyEndings and WhenHeroesGoDown. I'm barely ever on MSN but if you're so inclined, you could add me (michexis@hotmail.com). The same goes for Yahoo, where my name is hauntedbyawhisper (it's... from the theme song to Tru Calling. Don't judge me, whore.)
Tell Me More About You!
You could friend me on LJ for that or, if your interest lies solely in what music I listen to and television shows I watch, you could read below.
Yeah, Music!
Music's cool, right? We all agree on that. Currently I'm obsessed with Fall Out Boy (I know, I know -- they're addictive, though!), Kanye West, Metric, Regina Spektor and Rilo Kiley, as well as anything played on Veronica Mars -- for instance, "Famous Lover" by Fire Marshals of Bethlehem and "On Your Porch" by the Format are two of the prettiest songs I've ever heard. I'd say Regina Spektor wins, as far as the artist I'm most in love with right now, though.
My Last.fm may also be helpful in your quest to learn what I listen to. Also, you could check out my complete playlist here, on-site.
What about TV, huh?!
While many of these shows I'm not overly passionate about, I still have a healthy stock of shows I watch. I'm only including currently airing shows, otherwise this list will be far too long.
Desperate Housewives -- I don't harbor any delusions about the artistic quality of this show, but I love it anyway. Especially Bree. And Lynette. Especially if they have sex with each other. Wait, that didn't happen? Oh, it will. It will! By season four when they'll run out of plotlines and I will rejoice!
Grey's Anatomy -- I'm capable of being heavily entertained and amused by this show (Izzie! Cristina! George!) but my inability to like Meredith (I tried, I really did) makes me sometimes skip it. In fact, Meredith is the entire reason why I didn't watch the first season after I saw the first two episodes. Usually I disapprove of hating on a character, but she just makes me cringe and I can't help it! But, anyway, I watch it now because I fell in love with Izzie. I mean, come on, Katherine Heigl. Also because of Cristina/Burke.
House -- This show is second only to Veronica Mars, for me. Hugh Laurie manages to make you hurt for one of the biggest pricks in the world. I just... love. The stories can get a little far-fetched but that's okay -- my first fandom was Buffy. Far-fetched is okay by me! P.S. I love Chase.
Lost -- This show is the epitome of overrated but I totally understand the obsession it brought out in people in the first season because... while it was sometimes plain silly and some of the characters are less than interesting -- it managed to be televised crack. Now, though, in the second season it really, really blows. I still catch it every once in a while for Locke and Ana Lucia, but most of my interest is gone.
Veronica Mars -- I fully believe this is the best show currently on television. It's so odd, too, because only a handful of people watch it. Of course, if I had a show and my handful included the likes of Kevin Smith and Joss Whedon? I'd be thrilled. Until I got cancelled because only Kevin Smith and Joss Whedon watched it. The moral of this story is: you should watch Veronica Mars. Do it for me. And for Joss, Kevin, Stephen King and a few dozen of the coolest people on LJ.
